Lead Designer
Background
As the lead designer on this project, I am responsible for the overall design direction of the complex SASS platform. I manage a team of three designers, I ovesee their work and provide guidance and coaching as needed. I work closely with stakeholders to define the requirements for the platform. Our goal is to create a user-centric platform that is intuitive and easy to use for citizens interacting with their government services.
The Problem
The Admin console application was not meeting the needs of users. It was complex and lacked customization options, making it difficult for users to create and manage online services independently. This resulted in a reliance on developers to create services, which was time-consuming and inefficient.
The Goal
Build the platform that allows trusted digital transactions between individuals, businesses, and government organizations. Consistent sign-on and user experience with transparent consent.
Features
My team is currently working on developing a comprehensive set of features for this SaaS platform. Some of the features we're currently working on include:
- Service delivery maangement
- Roles and responsibilities
- User management
- External integraitons
- Platform settings
- User support tools
- Credentials
- Wallet
Outcome
Much of what we are working on is still not yet live, and Portage’s policy on sharing internal work is very strict. I spent most of the 2022 building core features that are going to be a part of Trust Ecosystem Builder.
